Who can apply for the service?

Any entity that wishes to obtain the privileges and incentives provided by the General Authority for Investment, provided that it is among the projects included in the Investment Law.

Required Documents

A copy of the ID card with the national number
Copies of passports for foreign investors
Land ownership/lease contract is baptized from anything
Valid commercial registration franchise
A copy of the incorporation contract and regulations of large companies
Fiscal year financial statements for companies/investors vary
Feasibility study of the project
Environmental impact assessment study
A copy of the ID card with the national number of the agent/authorizer
Announcement from the room to the agent/commissioner

Necessary conditions and specifications

It must be clarified and noted if the investor/or one of the partners is previously licensed by the Authority when filling out the partners’ data.
The project must not be located on one of the Yemeni islands and the investor must not be a foreigner.
The scope of the project must not be in one of the areas restricted in the Investment Law, Article 4 (weapons - oil sector - practicing import and export activities).
The project activity must not be in the field of forbidden wines and spirits.
Providing a legal form for the investor, whether he is a person or a legal entity.
The project location must not be in areas designated for housing or agriculture.
Private land must be registered in the real estate registry.
The investment costs of the project should not be less than one hundred million Yemeni riyals.
The percentage of Yemeni workers is not less than 90% and the number of workers is not less than ten.
The feasibility study applies industrial equations (proportionality of project components to production capacity).
